Rose Parent Project

Rose Parent Project

The Rose Parent Project is an assisted living, community reintegration model for people living with mental illness.

Considering the importance of education around mental illness and mental health, the Rose Parents and patients played a vital role in distributing 600 mental illness pamphlets during Mental Health Awareness Month in 2020.

The highlight of the year is the end of year party which was held on 4 November and the importance of the role that the social workers play in bringing hope and support to patients and the Rose parents is encapsulated by the email sent below: “On behalf of myself and the patients in my care, I want to express my sincere gratitude to you and the rest of the Lentegeur social workers. It's been an honour to work, learn from all of you. Your continuous support and good work ethics has made this journey and passion I have for the patient, such an easy task. Just knowing that I can rely on your support is appreciated and not taken lightly. May your passion for your work bring you much joy and happiness. Thanks a million... Lentegeur social workers”.
