The new Lentegeur Market Garden is a brilliant way to get super fresh vegetables on a weekly basis. Healthy veggies are grown chemical-free by local farmers and in-patients from the hospital as a form of rehabilitation. The Market Garden is a genuine growers market, bringing fresh food direct from the farm to the community and hospital staff. With tastes so delicious and prices so reasonable, all profits go towards enrichment opportunities for the patients and community, as well as sustainability programs at the hospital.
Special mentions need to go out to Brian Joffin, Toni Khulule, Tarryn Rice and most of all, the patients at the hospital who worked tirelessly over the months the get the market garden to where it is.
